[KB] Question about Resistance to Burke

I always got the impression that Burke would have welcomed intense
disagreements. The "conversation" in the "parlor" and all that. ::shrug::

I had (have?) a pretty big bone to pick with him too, and I *tried* to in my
recent book<http://www.amazon.com/Romancing-Difference-University-Religious-Fundamentalism/dp/1602580030/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1196964675&sr=8-1>.
But uh . . . somebody else thought it was all about them and pitched a fit
when I tried to publish that last chapter. So I dropped it for the sake of
peace. Funny how criticism goes. . . . But isn't critiquing the guy the
sincerest compliment?
