[Cytometry] Diethylene glycol lysis buffers

I'm looking at alternative procedures for erythrocyte lysis in whole blood,
but I need a buffer without any fixatives. Any crosslinking of
macromolecules interferes with downstream process. ACK has been inadequate.
Density gradient is too cumbersome for automation.

Does anyone know of a commercial diethylene glycol based lysis buffer that
doesn't have formaldehyde?

Failing that, what's your favorite DEG concentration. Reading several MSDS
I seem to get a range of 3-5%.

Thanks in advance!
