Dear Fellow ISAC Colleagues
UC Santa Cruz Institute for the Biology of Stem Cells (IBSC) in UCSC Center
for Biomolecular Science and Engineering is organizing and hosting the Stem
Cells and Aging Symposium on May 30 & 31, the only major meeting on Stem
Cells and Aging in the US this year. The organizers have invited FloCyte
Regional Training Program to present a full one day course on the use of
flow cytometry in Stem Cell science on the day before, May 29, 2013! This
is a rare opportunity for you to receive added value, this excellent
symposium program coupled with training in the nuances of flow cytometry in
stem cell analysis and sorting. Dr. Dorothy Lewis of UT Houston, and Texas
Medical Center will be presenting this excellent training the day before
the symposium, and we hope you will take advantage of the opportunity of
both these events. Please post the attached posters in your labs or email
to colleagues to spread the word.
Registration for both the meeting
<http://stemcell.soe.ucsc.edu/registration/1>and for the course
(NOTE: the registrations are separate and you need to go to both web
locations to register for these opportunities!) Attached are flyers for
both events! Those registering for the symposium will receive a 10%
discount off the course registration, and as a bonus, if you register as a
group of 5 or 10 or more (just email FloCyte <flocyte at flocyte.org>with the
names to invoice together) you will receive another 10 or 20% off,
respectively. Graduates of previous FloCyte courses will also receive the
'graduates' bonus of 10% off!!
We are delighted to couple these two events for your maximum benefit! Come
visit the beautiful California coast in Spring, and take advantage of two
excellent Stem Cell events! We hope to see you soon at UC Santa Cruz!
