	Hi Betsy,

Watch out with venting a hood to outside: Our Lab Operations people
tell me that for example in New York state this is illegal. So you'd
need to check regulations first....

Kind regards,

Jan Hendrikx

>Betsy, we've had the Baker hood for a few years now, and its in a
>very small room and is not ducted to building exhaust, and we have
>trouble with heat buildup inside the hood. If you are in a larger
>room (this was reportedly the smallest room they've installed it in)
>and can vent some of the heat away by connecting it to building
>exhaust, you should be ok. Make sure to leave enough room for the
>wet cart outside of the hood, too--its possible to put it under the
>table inside the hood but definitely not the best setup to do it
>that way.
