Dear Fellow Flowers:

I have a Dako MoFlo and it is time to renew the service contract.
The machine is 4 years old and the full service contract is expensive
enough for us to look at all our options. The machine has 3
lasers(an ICyte Lyt 200-S 488 nm, a Melles Griot HeNe 633 nm and
Coherent tunable I 90C-Krypton). The machine is equipped with a
smart sampler, sortmaster and PMTs for 10 colors. The machine is
fairly well used with sorting going on 3 to 5 days a week.

I am interested in hearing from both those of you who have
maintenance contracts and those who do not.

For those with contracts, I am interested in whether you feel the
price of the full coverage(Dako calls it the Platinum plan) is worth
it or if you have one of the lesser plans, is it enough?

For those without a maintenance contracts, I am interested in how
long it takes for a service call and the costs associated with that.

Thanks as always to everyone who responds.

Sincerely,

Janet Dow
