Laser Scanning Cytometry Symposium--July 18 in Cambridge, UK

To cytometrists in the UK and other interested parties,

 

There will be a symposium devoted to Laser Scanning Cytometry on the
afternoon of Thursday, July 18 in Cambridge, UK, in advance of the
FlowCytometryUK  Inaugural Meeting to be held there on July 19 and 20.

 

The presentations include:

 

*	  "Laser Scanning Cytometry Technology for Life Sciences, Drug
Discovery, Clinical and Research Pathology:  Cell-based and tissue
applications" - Ed Luther, Principal Scientist, CompuCyte Corporation

*	  "LSC analysis of tissue microarrays:	Application to
subcellular localization of p27 and prostate cancer recurrence" - Peter
Gann, Director, Department of Pathology, College of Medicine, University
of Illinois at Chicago, USA

*	  "Use of LSC technology in the department of ultrastructural
pathology" - David Krull, Senior Scientist, GlaxoSmithKline, NC, USA

 

We will also offer an opportunity to see a demonstration of the iCys(r)
Research Imaging Cytometer.

 

The meeting will take place at Cancer Research UK, Robinson Way,
Cambridge CB2 0RE.

 

The meeting and demonstration are free of charge.  However, as the
facility is secure, you must register in advance if you wish to attend
