Hello Mark,

We ran human RPE's many years ago at Geron. I can't remember the details
except that these cells were extremely autofluorescent - so that property
of high autofluorescence might adequate to differentiate them from
less-autofluorescent cells.

Dear flow'ers,

Happy new year to one and all!

Has anyone ran bovine Retinal Pigment Epithelial cells on Facs (other than
as
part of an endocytosis assay). If so, what markers did you use to
positively
identify them as bovine RPE's?

Does the melanine within the cells have any useful properties?

Any help will be greatfully recieved.

Many thanks

Mark
