CD45 dim population in blood samples

Hi everybody,
  I have a dum question:
when you stain a total blood sample with CD45 and plot the CD45 fluorescence versus the
side scatter SSC, you reach a profile with a population of lymphocytes very clearely
distinct, and with another population on the left, CD45 dim. Does anyone knows anything
about that population? is that NK cells CD45 positive?
thank you very much for help!
  kind regards,
  O. Munoz
