re (n): RNA from sorted cells

     thanks for the memories..
     yes we published on RNA from sorted cells (Cytometry 10:199-204,1989), 
     but it was just spot-blots, not northerns, no isolation and 
     electrophoresis, so no transcript size info.  The cells were sorted 
     live onto nitrocellulose and mRNA stuck onto the filter with a 
     commercial prep (S+S "Quick-blot').  We saw good specificity and 
     linearity for IL1b message using U937 cells induced with PMA+LPS.
