I recently had to switch from Criterion Diluent 2, Azide Free to FACSflow.
Lo and behold, all of my cells died.

I spoke to a BDIS representative and she told me that FACSflow "can be a
problem for live cell sorting."

Needless to say, I was extremely unhappy that there was no indication of
this in the product description in the BD catalog, or on the boxes of
diluent themselves.

Has anyone else found this to be the case?

Since then, I have used PBS, Coulter Isoflow, and now I'm back to
Criterion, with no viability problems.

Perhaps others have have learned the hard way as well?
