Dennis, 

For killing vegetative spores in the fluidics, use 10% household bleach
or 3-6% hydrogen peroxide. 70% ethanol will not kill resistant vegetative
spores. I 'm not sure about acetic acid being totally effective. Ingrid
Schmid of UCLA was an author an a biosafety article in Cytometry published
last year with a table listing various agents agents, there recommended uses
and effectiveness. I don't have the citation at hand--Ingrid or anyone
that has the issue and page numbers handy of this article to add to the
posting?
